How I Learned to Analyze an Agarose Gel

First, we must understand what makes a student proficient in this area. A student is proficient if they: understand how to interpret an agarose gel and can determine the number of DNA bands as well as the size of each band using the DNA size standard for comparison.

Now that we know what makes a student proficient, we can begin to talk about where I have applied these skills. Not only did I apply those skills, but I also drew a replica of the gel after electrophoresis.
