How I Learned to Organize Experimental Data

Writer's picture: Samantha MontesSamantha Montes

First, we must understand what makes a student proficient in this area. A student is proficient if they: organize data logically in tables, lists, or charts with clear labels, headings, and units of measurement, if the description of the data set is organized and requires no additional explanations to be understood by another individual.

Now that we know what makes a student proficient, we can begin to talk about where I have applied these skills. I practice these skills with every lab I have. I believe it is important to have your scientific notebook organized and labeled for others to be able to understand.
