First, we must understand what makes a student proficient in this area. A student is proficient if they: understand the importance of properly sketching microscopic details, the sketch shows the overall shape of a cell, the sketch is drawn and labeled accurately, the shading is done using dots, and the cell size is shown using a scale bar.
Now that we know what makes a student proficient, we can begin to talk about where I have applied these skills. In Koch's postulates, I had to sketch the details we saw in the microscope. You do not have to be a terrific artist in order to sketch the microscopic details but you must take your time to get all the details because you may be relying on your sketches and pictures to answer questions.
